Very strange thing happened!

A nurse knocked on my door holding one of the blue bags you get from the shop.

The nurse proceeded to tell me that a jacket and alarm clock had been given to reception for me, and they had put it in a bag with a note on it.

Totally confused as I am expecting my mum to drop some clothes off for me on Saturday afternoon.

When I looked in the bag, I did not recognise the jacket, also the alarm clock is not what you can buy in the shop.  So that has also come from outside.

The note read:

My father passed away 4 years ago today!

I said to the nurse that this bag is 100% defiantly not for me.

The nurse looked at me blankly and said;

‘We only have one resident that has your first or last surname, so if it is not yours, I am confused about who this is for?’

I did not mention my dad at this point, as she already looked very confused and I did not want to freak her out like I was a little.

Higher Power

I already believe in God, but I am still searching for what is my higher power and if it is God or something else.

Could this be a sign that my dad is also my higher power?  He always wanted me to seek help with my drinking addiction.

Now rationally, this could have been a misheard name at reception, but for this to occur, on this day especially?

What is my higher power?
