Day 29.

6 am wake up.

Interesting start to the day with a lecture on ‘Coping with feelings’, this made me think a lot about how I handle my feelings, especially due to the ups and downs I have had in the castle so far.  I will need to read the handouts again to process more.

Group therapy went well with another peer sharing their life story.  This peer I have bonded with and it was interesting to hear their story and understand this peer some more.

My therapist meeting went well, touching on setting boundaries again and service in the AA.  A lot to think about.  Also gave me my letters back to amend before this meeting, I did this and I can read them to my group.

I have started to think about service, and have thought about building a website focused on LGBTQ meetings.  Many websites exist, but I am finding it hard to find up-to-date information on LGBTQ meetings, as they are mixed in with other meetings in search results, or out of date and don’t run anymore.

Something to think about more and a possible way of service in the AA.

I found a group today that could become my home group.  Once leaving the castle, I will visit this one regularly every week.  It reassuring knowing that I may have found my home group, time will tell if I enjoy this meeting and get on with the other fellows.

One day at a time, tomorrow I will be 30 days sober!
