It was a really nice day today so took a small walk along a canal. The walk made me think that I should have gone out on the kayak instead. Got home and had a look on google maps for other places to kayak. Need to start exercising. I love going out on the kayak, peace and quiet on the water keeps me fit at the same time. You do get looks though when your paddling on a canal through a city centre.
The rest of the day I just chilled out. Some shopping, a big clean of the bathroom as it’s been annoying me for days, and the usual small wash is done to hang up in the good weather. Cooked a nice meal and then some Netflix and bed.
Did not crave or have an urge for alcohol at all today. Due to another aisle being blocked with staff stocking, I walked down the alcohol aisle. On reflection, I should have walked back on myself and the other way, but I did not have any cravings and now the alcohol aisle did not bother me, walked fast and did not even look at the wine. I will still keep the prevention plan in place, and only walk this aisle occasionally, and if really needed. I will not tempt myself, and especially on a bad day, I will not walk that path.
Stick to the recovery plan and start exercising
