First time in a while, I slept in this morning. Woke up just in time for my morning therapist meeting.
The therapist meeting went well. We talked about the week I have had, reinforcing boundaries and getting ready for when aftercare finishes. I am now halfway through my aftercare, so I will need to really start planning for after this. I am going to look into morning meetings and change the routine slightly to the project in the morning, meeting, and then work. Will still keep the Thursday meeting going, feel like this is now my home group.
The rest of the morning I spent doing MODAAT and the project. More stock has been sold, so will need to post this tomorrow. Finished typing in the rest of the rehab diary, so just some final checks and tidy up to do, and MODAAT can go live on Sunday as planned. Did not attend the Alumni meeting, as started work early.
Seen an old friend and fellow alcoholic on the street today. I have not seen him for a long time, and he has now been sober for just over a year. He was telling me how he was taken into hospital and was kept in for a month. It was during this month that he got sober and has remained sober. He has not been doing any AA or receiving any other help, but I have said that if he needs someone to speak to, he has my details. I also mentioned the AA groups, and if he would like to attend one, to message me, and I will go with him. Time will tell, and hopefully, he can also stay on the path of abstinence.
All going well, MODAAT will go live on Sunday!
